WE BRING

PEOPLE TOGETHER
FOR CHRIST
"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." - Matthew 18:20
Rooted in the vibrant city of Antwerp, Lifeline began in 2018 as a young adults group and has since grown into a multifaceted interchurch movement.
Lifeline brings people together in faith to worship Jesus, STRENGHTEN their relationship with god, and build the leaders of tomorrow.
A Vision
without limits

Our vision is to build a global movement that bridges communities, inspires generations to follow Jesus, and leaves a lasting legacy of unity and love through Christ.

This is
our story
December, 2016
God gives a clear vision to Gidion Jacob about starting a new ministry in Belgium. A place where young adults will come together to get to know Christ.
July 15, 2018
Lifeline kicks off with the first Bible study for young adults at Koffieklap in Antwerp. With the support of AIPC, Gidion Jacob and Jan Witsel become the founders of Lifeline. The community starts to grow exponentially.
April, 2019
The first ever 'Glory To Glory' Night takes place in the Antwerp International School in Ekeren. This is the predecessor of what we now know as 'Praise Antwerp'.
January, 2020
Jan and Gidion finally welcome their first team. The team does an amazing work building on the vision God had prepared for Lifeline. But then the worldwide COVID pandemic hits and all the new plans get postponed. Lifeline continues to grow over Zoom meetings and the reach of our organisation expands beyond Antwerp. What a blessing!
July, 2021
Lifeline organises the first 'Praise Antwerp'. This would be the first worship night after the pandemic, bringing a few hundred people together to praise our King Jesus. Now we are allowed to organise physical events again, Lifeline starts experimenting with new concepts such as 'House of Prayer' and organises another Praise Antwerp in November 2021.
January, 2022
The Lifeline Team starts expanding and more concepts come to life.
July 15, 2018
The first Bible study for young adults took place on this day. We were welcomed with open arms by Koffieklap to organise our first event.
Our Mission
"At Lifeline, we bring people together in faith and community, creating a safe and welcoming space for all to deepen their relationship with God. Empowering leaders for tomorrow, we proclaim that Christ is the answer to humanity’s deepest needs in a disconnected world."

What we believe

God's Word

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, serving as our ultimate authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living. We strive to study and apply its teachings in our programs and activities.

One God

We believe in the existence of one true God who is the creator of all things, both visible and invisible, and who reveals Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully human, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins, and rose again on the third day.

Repentance

We believe that repentance involves acknowledging and confessing our sins before God, recognizing that we have fallen short of His perfect standard, and seeking His forgiveness and mercy.

Unity

We believe in one body of Christ, and we strive to foster unity and respect among believers and Christian organizations for the purpose of advancing God's kingdom on earth.

His Return

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ and the promise of a new heaven and a new earth. Therefore, we live with a sense of urgency, proclaiming the gospel, and working to make a positive impact in the world until His glorious return.

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer and seek to foster a culture of prayer within our organization. We believe that God hears and answers prayers according to His perfect will, and we encourage individuals to seek His guidance, provision, and intervention in their lives.

Discipleship

We believe in the importance of discipleship and spiritual growth. We seek to equip and empower believers to deepen their relationship with God, grow in their understanding of the Scriptures, and actively live out their faith in their daily lives.

Love

We believe that love is the greatest commandment given by Jesus Christ. He taught that we are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Love is the lens through which we are called to view and engage with the world.
